Marissa is in a witness-protection program, and her name isn't Marissa at all. She's an ex-CIA agent with an international price on her head. James, a resident at neary Mercy Hospital, is falling in love with her, and she is attracted to him. However, after all the running and being terrorized after her CIA partner was killed, she's finally turned into the predator and is out to get her pursuer, Dmitry, a member of the Russian Mafia. There is a battle to the death at last, and she is almost killed but by her wits and wisdom, she manages to foil Dmitry and he makes a fatal slip that causes his own demise. She is at last free, and able to meet James on even grounds.

Thank you for the great story idea! I had to scale it down for our “target” ending. Let’s leave some details and action for the Anglers to generate. Of course, you can always work the extra details into your installments. The story may also have to be somewhat less complex to keep it to a manageable length for Hooks & Storylines. I’ve found that some Anglers shy away from participation when the stories get long. --Skipper

It really is pathetic that you have folks not reading this web site. Great job

I've been getting dismayed with the lack of participation recently--tells me I have to find more time for promoting the site. I've put a lot of work into it. Please, I invite everyone to help spread the word about TaleBait to make it more fun for all of us.
